Una buena amiga mía, periodista francesa, acaba de regresar de Libano. Así lo describe:
"Lebanon….F16 everywhere upon us.
I was in south lebanon,…Sleeping (?!) in ruins, driving without roads, avoiding to be next to trucks or fuel tanks or factories : the favorite target of israelis.
My driver was an angel, but very scared. The only way to drive - and stay safe - between villages was 180 km/hour ! I never crossed towns like that, followed by some kind of devil.
we used to pick up food in bombed houses, cans most of the time. No electricity, no water during weeks, no need to say.
Once, looking for an hospital to have interview with medics, we run into a fridge truck full of plastic bags, 125 corpses piled high. Mostly women, babies and kids, dead since days. Got it ? no fuel for trucks, so no AC inside and 40° outside…
well, normal war. artillery shells, 500 kgs bombs, flak jackets not useful over there.what else ? Impossible to sleep in fact, far from windows when they are some. The earth was shaking as if a big mysterious subway was under us…"
